DISMISSAL OF WORKERS FROM JANUARY
Nowadays, we often come across titles that attract everyone’s attention, such as: „They took subsidies from the state and distributed dismissals“, „Minimum state aid unpaid to workers“, „Mass layoffs due to a pandemic“, etc. Following the global COVID-19 pandemic, mass layoffs in almost all sectors are expected in January 2021.
Many companies, as well as entrepreneurs, received certain subsidies from the state in order not to lay off workers, but despite that, it did not pay off for many, and yet there are mass layoffs. Workers in such situations often remain unpaid or their employer has won only a part of the received subsidies. Despite the paid minimums that employers received from the state on the condition that they do not lay off more than 10% of workers, employers still have the right to lay off whenever and whenever they want.
